The mandate: Provide emergency water boosting in case the current water source should become unusable, following the oil spill in Lac Mégantic. Pumpaction’s added value: Ability to innovate by providing variable-speed diesel pumps controlled by an Amps 4-20 mm probe as a pumping unit for a municipality, a first. Pumpaction relied on a solid network of partners, particularly Gorman-Rupp, to propose an effective solution that also allows remote monitoring through a cellular communication system. |
