The mandate:
Pumpaction is supplying all concreting equipment along with site installation assistance, training and spare parts for the Nova Centre project. Nova Centre will comprise a financial center, luxury hotel, residences, retail and entertainment amenities, etc. This project is the largest integrated development project undertaken in Nova Scotia’s history.
 
Pumpaction’s added value:
This particular job required a different solution due to his height and poor access at the site. Thus, once the building was up to the street level, Pumpaction proposed a solution that downtown Halifax had not seen on past projects – a Self-Climbing System consisting of a Putzmeister MX 34/38Z Placing Boom mounted on top of Putzmeister RS 850 Column Placing System. Along with installation assistance, training and spare parts, Pumpaction also provided more equipment such as a Trailer-Mounted Concrete Pump, ZX pipe system that can stand up high pressure pumping and Hydraulic Diversion Valve.
